Indications:

To reduce the duration and symptoms of the common cold (sore throat, stuffy nose, sneezing, coughing, and congestion.

Directions:

Adults and children 3 years of age and older: To clear the nasal passageway, blow your nose prior to using Zicam™.  Remove safety clip.  Prior to initial use, prime Zicam™ pump by holding upright and pumping several times (into tissue) until gel is dispensed.  Place tip of nasal pump just past nasal opening (1/8 of an inch).  Spray once into each nostril.  It is not necessary to sniff up gel.  After application, press lightly on the outside of each nostril for about 5 seconds.  Reapply every 2-4 hours until symptoms subside.  After symptoms subside continue use for an additional 48 hrs.  Consult a physician if symptoms persist.

Store at a temp between 15°C and 29°C (59°F and 84°F).

This product worked pretty well for colds. I was coming down with one when I offered to Test Drive it, so I already had the symptoms. I liked the fact that it was a homeopathic remedy and therefore, I didn't mind the fact that it was a nasal gel. It worked pretty well -- took about a day before I noticed results, which could be due to the fact that I already had symptoms for a few days. But, after using it for about three days, I felt much much better. I would suggest this product to those who want an alternative way to treat colds beside the over-the-counter meds. It's not that messy to apply, either, which is good.
