FRONTAL BALDNESS HAIR LOSS RESTORATION, a personal experience with SCALPMED,ROGAINE / MINOXIDIL 5% and Propecia.
I have found you can partially restore your frontal hairline with a little bit of time each day and the right products having done it myself on receding temples and thinning on top.
. Rogaines manufacturer has done a good job of telling people not to try using their product on frontal hairlines because they have been instructed to do so by government agencies owing to limited success in this area, therefore the restrictions on claims. Not wanting to do a transplant I decided to try it anyway. Well it worked at the top area of the temples as the center section widened, however there has not been much progress at the temples lower area. At this time I have regained about 70% of my hairline and thickened the vertex area considerably which means I will be using Minoxidil until an alternative comes along that works better. At this time only Propecia by prescription works better which I have used with excellent results but it does have some sexual side effects. I cannot think of any reason not to be using these products since they are so cheap compared to the surgical alternative. If nothing else they can stop further hairloss . All other products are not backed by the FDA as being effective and one should not trust claims!
UPDATE! I have been using SCALPMED with good results. See scalpmed.com. It comes with the Minoxidil so no need to order separately here.
I would appreciate any feedback from anyone who tries it, hopefully with good results but of course some people may not respond as well as I did but I think it is worth trying before paying a lot of money for transplants. Good luck and I will post again when I have more detailed info.
